Choosing your own spectrum of colours in life is important..
That’s why I played with curves, on these recently-taken images. Lovely.

For those who don’t know, a QR code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The “QR” is derived from “Quick Response”, as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed.
Usually, they look like this:
AirCanada already gives those out with electronic tickets, and accepts them as boarding passes (you can demonstrate it on your iPhone, and board a plane).
Here is Marc Jacobs’ version of a QR code:
If only that, too, could allow you to board a plane.. to Paris or LA.. it would be fab!
I really like this cover - I think it has a lot of substance. Gray hair = wisdom acquired only through life experience (even when photoshop-ed). Also, just look at that sparkle in his eyes.. mesmerizing, eventhough it could just be the “flashing lights” (touché!).
Speaking of Mr. West, check this out:

My favourite part: the model.. actually, the dress. Plus, who doesn’t feel like taking off?
Time is approaching quickly, and I am actively searching up good neighbourhoods/areas to move to, in Brisbane.
Thanks to Google, this is a whole lot easier now. When on Google Maps, clicking on the little man (right above the zoom scroll) will give you a man-view of all the streets (I remember seeing the Google Car in downtown Saskatoon a little while back..).
Anyways, now when I see an ad, I can quickly check out the neighbourhood and move on as soon as I see something I don’t like. Awesome.
Newsweek gives a list of books to read, and briefly explains why they’re a must. Check it here.

Glastonbury - “Europe’s largest open-air music festival” featured Bat for Lashes, Lady Gaga, Neil Young, and others. I would love to make it to one of these in the next few years - while I can still rock it. Check out these amazing pictures, and see more here.

I have quite a bit of free time right now, so I have decided to obtain some new skills - for example, it is a goal of mine to become a semi-pro in After Effects (good luck!).
Anyways, here is my first “real” try:

Last week we went to a football game - Riders vs. Stampeders.
Aside from the disappointing score, the cheerleaders were hot, the beer was cold and it didn’t rain. I think the boys were pretty happy with that.
Plus, we have a few video to show for it. First one is Igor’s animation which played on the JumboTron at the game - the reason why we actually went to the game:

The second video is a million pictures put into motion:

Plus, we managed to capture aurora borealis. Unique experience - CHECK.
